Holly Pepper is a professional Artist and qualified art educator, currently based in Port Vila, Vanuatu. Holly is currently offering a range of exciting workshops for both adults and children during February + March 2019.

Screen printing
 

Suitable age range: Adult art workshop

Class Capacity: 10 students

Time Required: 6 weeks (2 hour weekly sessions)

Proposed Dates: Thursday Evenings 5:30 pm-7:30 pm 
                              Commencing 14th February 2019

Cost: 16500 Vatu for 6 week course
 

Most art materials are included in the cost of the workshop. Fabric and t-shirts printed on during the workshop are not included in the workshop price.


Screen printing is an effective way to create a series of your own custom-made fabric prints. Through this workshop you will learn practical skills in designing hand-cut stencils and printing using a silk screen.

Tropical lino prints
 

Suitable age range: Adult art workshop

Class Capacity: 10 students

Time Required: 6 weeks (2 hour weekly sessions)

Proposed Dates: Friday Mornings 9:00 am-11:00 am

                              Commencing the 15th February 2019

Minimum class size: 8 people

Cost: 16000 Vatu or 6 week course

All art materials are included in the cost of the workshop

 

Learn the process to designing, cutting and printing your own lino print. Over the course of 6 weeks you will be guided through the creative steps involved in creating a successful artwork suited to lino cutting. You will experience using a professional lino printing press to create an edition of lino prints.

Experimental Screenprinting
 

Suitable age range: Young Adult art workshop (12-18 years)

Class Capacity: 10 students

Time Required: 6 weeks (2 hour weekly sessions)

Proposed Dates: Thursday afternoon 3:00 pm- 5:00 pm

                              Commencing the 14th February 2019

Minimum class size: 8 people

Cost: 16500 Vatu or 6 week course

Through this hands on workshop students will experiment with a range of techniques to create screenprinted designs. Working with found objects, ripped paper, string and other materials you will experience creating free form printing techniques. From this experimental process and guided drawing and stencil making sessions each student will create screen-printed fabric products.
